The Mandela Effect Debunked – For Real

For those of you wondering what the Mandela Effect is, it was a “theory” that discussed a near alternate-reality here on earth. People remembering history and events so clearly wrong that it must have been a conspiracy.

The concept is simple; well not really…

Let’s take a sample and go from there: Forest Gump says, momma always said “life is like a box of chocolates”

or does she…

People have been using this line over and over so many times it is nearly embed into our minds. Go ahead and try to remember if that is actually right.

“Life is like a box of chocolates, you never know what you gonna get!”

The actual line from the movie is “life WAS like a box of chocolates…”

Now, I know what your thinking, not a big difference, it’s one damn word. But hold onto your hats people, this s where things get nutty. Again, this was just a sample to get you started!

So let’s ease you into another one that’s not too bad: “Luke, I am NOT your Father!” from Star Wars

We all most certainly remember this line from the movie as, “Luke, I am your father”

And for good reason, James Earl Jones has a way with his voice that makes anyone try to impersonate him. But what was the actual line?

Kids would run around all the time quoting this line, and yet once again, they would be wrong…

(Conversation)
Darth Vader: “Obi-Wan never told you what happened to your father.”
Luke: “He told me enough. He told me you killed him”.
Darth Vader: “No. I am your father.”

Now, yet another small difference, but people would swear their souls on this one. Again, did we live in an alternate reality at some point, or did someone keep misquoting the movie so badly, it was imprinted in our minds that way??

Stay tuned for the second round with Sinbad as a Genie? The B______ Bears from the 1980’s and more!!
